Measurement times:
 Here you specify how many measurement occasions your design has.

• Example: If a basic questionnaire is to be sent out at the study start, followed by 2 questionnaires per day over a working week, the survey has 1 + 2*5 = 11 measurement occasions.

 

Start times:
Here you specify how many different cohorts your study has.

• Example: If the participants in the above-mentioned study can choose of three different dates (e.g. in week 13, 14 or 15), the study has 3 start times.

 

Questionnaires:
 Here you specify how many different questionnaires your study should have. It is about whether the same variables should be collected at every measurement point in time.

• Example: If a basic questionnaire is to be sent out at study start, followed by one questionnaire in the morning and a different questionnaire in the evening over the course of a working week, the study has 3 questionnaires.

 

Questions or items:

Here you specify how many different items should be collected in total.

• Example: The above-mentioned basic questionnaire has 60 items, the morning questionnaire has 40 items, the evening questionnaire also has 40 items, 20 of which are identical to the morning questionnaire, the other 20 items are only collected in the evening. The study has 60 + 40 + 20 = 120 items.

 

Additional variables for automated feedback:
 Here you specify how many variables your participants should automatically receive feedback for after completing the survey. The feedback of one variable is included. You can find an example in the product photos.

• Example: The participants should receive feedback on their work engagement, their exhaustion and their stress level at work in the evening questionnaires. One feedback is included, so 2 additional variables should be reported back.
