Audio and video conferencing
Data processing
We use online conferencing tools, among others, to communicate with our customers. The individual tools we use are listed below. If you communicate with us by video or audio conference via the internet, your personal data will be collected and processed by us and the provider of the respective conference tool.
The conferencing tools collect all data that you provide/enter to use the tools (e-mail address and/or your telephone number). The conferencing tools also process the duration of the conference, the start and end (time) of participation in the conference, the number of participants and other "contextual information" in connection with the communication process (metadata). Furthermore, the provider of the tool processes all technical data that is required to process the online communication. This includes, in particular, IP addresses, MAC addresses, device IDs, device type, operating system type and version, client version, camera type, microphone or loudspeaker and the type of connection.
If content is exchanged, uploaded or made available in any other way within the tool, this is also stored on the tool provider's servers. Such content includes, in particular, cloud recordings, chat/instant messages, voicemails, uploaded photos and videos, files, whiteboards and other information shared while using the service.
Please note that we do not have full control over the data processing operations of the tools used. Our options are largely determined by the company policy of the respective provider. Further information on data processing by the conference tools can be found in the privacy policies of the tools used, which we have listed below this text.
Purpose and legal basis
The conference tools are used to communicate with prospective or existing contractual partners or to offer certain services to our customers (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR). Furthermore, the use of the tools serves the general simplification and acceleration of communication with us or our company (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). If consent has been requested, the tools in question are used on the basis of this consent; consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
Storage duration
The data collected directly by us via the video and conference tools will be deleted from our systems as soon as you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies. Stored cookies remain on your end device until you delete them. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
We have no influence on the storage period of your data that is stored by the operators of the conference tools for their own purposes. For details, please contact the operators of the conference tools directly.

Plugins from social media are used on this website (e.g. WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, XING, LinkedIn).
You can usually recognize the plugins by the respective social media logos. To ensure data protection on this website, we only use these plugins together with the so-called "Shariff" solution. This application prevents the plugins integrated on this website from transferring data to the respective provider when you first enter the site.
A direct connection to the provider's server is only established when you activate the respective plugin by clicking on the corresponding button (consent). As soon as you activate the plugin, the respective provider receives the information that you have visited this website with your IP address. If you are logged into your respective social media account (e.g. Facebook) at the same time, the respective provider can assign the visit to this website to your user account.
Activating the plugin constitutes consent within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time with effect for the future.
Cookies and similar technologies
When you visit or access our Services, we authorize third parties to use web beacons, cookies, pixel tags, scripts and other technologies and analytics services ("Tracking Technologies"). Trustpilot reviews
We participate in the rating process of the provider Trustpilot A/S, Pilestræde 58, 5, 1112 Copenhagen, Denmark.
Trustpilot offers users the opportunity to rate our services. Users who have used our services are asked to consent to the sending of the rating request. If users have given their consent (e.g. by clicking on a checkbox or a link), they will receive a review request with a link to a review page. In order to ensure that users have actually used our services, we transmit the necessary data to Trustpilot with regard to the user and the service used (this includes the name, e-mail address and a reference number). This data is used solely to verify the authenticity and address of the user.
The legal basis for the processing of the user's data as part of the evaluation process is consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. GDPR.

In order to maintain the neutrality and objectivity of the reviews, we have no direct influence on the reviews and cannot delete them ourselves. For this purpose, we ask users to contact Trustpilot.
We can also integrate the Trustpilot widget into our website. A widget is a functional and content element integrated into our online offering that displays variable information. Although the corresponding content is displayed within our online offering, it is retrieved from the Trustpilot servers at that moment. Only in this way can the current content always be shown, especially the current rating. To do this, a data connection must be established from the website accessed within our online offering to Trustpilot and Trustpilot receives certain technical data (access data, including the IP address) that is necessary for the content to be delivered. Trustpilot also receives information that users have visited our website. This information can be stored in a cookie and used by Trustpilot to recognize which online offers that participate in the Trustpilot rating process have been visited by the user. The information can be stored in a user profile and used for advertising or market research purposes.
The legal basis for the processing of the user's data in the context of the integration of the widget is our legitimate interest in informing our users about the quality of our services in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR. GDPR. If we ask users for their consent to the processing of their data through the use of cookies, the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. GDPR.

Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager is a solution with which we can manage so-called website tags via an interface (and thus integrate Google Analytics and other Google marketing services into our online offering, for example). The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) does not process any personal user data. With regard to the processing of users' personal data, please refer to the following information on Google services. Usage guidelines: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy.html.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer and to provide us with further services associated with the use of this online offer and the use of the Internet. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.
We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of users is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.
The IP address transmitted by the user's browser will not be merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly; users can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
If we ask users for their consent (e.g. as part of a cookie consent), the legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a. GDPR. Otherwise, users' personal data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR). GDPR) are processed. Insofar as data is processed in the USA, we would like to point out that Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby guarantees to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?class=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options, can be found in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
Users' personal data is deleted or anonymized after 14 months.
Google AdWords and conversion measurement
We use the services of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, ("Google").
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?class=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
We use the online marketing process Google "AdWords" to place ads in the Google advertising network (e.g. in search results, in videos, on websites, etc.) so that they are displayed to users who are presumed to be interested in the ads. This allows us to display ads for and within our online offering in a more targeted manner in order to present users only with ads that potentially match their interests. If, for example, a user is shown ads for products that they have shown an interest in on other online offers, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when our and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active are accessed, a code from Google is executed directly by Google and so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also known as "web beacons") are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of cookies). This file records which websites the user has visited, which content they are interested in and which offers the user has clicked on, as well as technical information about the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information about the use of the online offer.
We also receive an individual "conversion cookie". The information collected with the help of the cookie is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only learn the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, we do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.
User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process the user's name or email address, for example, but processes the relevant data in relation to cookies within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that, from Google's point of view, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie owner, regardless of who this cookie owner is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the USA.
Further information on the use of data by Google, setting and objection options, can be found in Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and in the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).
